This Privacy Policy explains how Horizonte Studios ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the Classic Metronome mobile application (the "App"), distributed globally via the Google Play Store.

This policy is designed to comply with current global privacy regulations and app store requirements, including the Google Play Developer Program Policies (User Data & Data Safety), the European Union/EEA/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), United States federal and state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and COPPA, and Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD).

2. Information We Collect (None)

We believe that a musical practice tool should respect your privacy completely. When you use Classic Metronome:

• No Personal Information: We do not ask for, collect, or access your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or account credentials.
• No Network Access: The App does not declare the Android android.permission.INTERNET permission. It is technically incapable of transmitting data from your device to our servers or any third party.
• No Analytics or Advertising SDKs: The App contains zero third-party analytics, crash-reporting trackers, or advertising SDKs.
• No Microphone or Camera Capture: The App synthesizes metronome audio and renders visual flashes directly on the screen; it never accesses your microphone or camera.

3. Local On-Device Storage

To provide a seamless user experience, the App stores your operational preferences—such as your selected Tempo (BPM), visual theme mode (Dark, Light, or High-Contrast), audio-visual sync offset (ms), and vibration/flash toggles—strictly locally on your device using standard Android storage mechanisms.

• This configuration data contains no personally identifiable information.
• If you have enabled Android's built-in system backup (allowBackup), your operating system may back up these non-personal app settings according to your Google Account's device backup settings. We have no access to those backups.
• Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage in your Android system settings permanently deletes all locally stored preferences.

5. Google Play Services & Platform Distribution

While the App itself collects no data, downloading, updating, or installing the App through the Google Play Store involves standard platform telemetry processed directly by Google LLC as an independent data controller (such as install counts, ANR/crash logs provided via Google Play Console if opted-in at the OS level, and licensing checks). That processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Regional Privacy Rights (EU/EEA/UK, USA, and Brazil)

European Union, EEA, Switzerland & United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR):

Because we do not collect or process any personal data (as defined in Article 4(1) of the GDPR), Horizonte Studios does not act as a data controller or processor of your personal data within the App, and no international data transfers occur. If you contact us directly via email for support, we process your email address and message solely on the legal basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) to respond to your inquiry, and you retain the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict that correspondence at any time.

United States (CCPA / CPRA / VCDPA / State Privacy Laws):

Under California and other applicable US state privacy laws:

• We do not collect "Personal Information" or "Sensitive Personal Information."
• We do not "sell" or "share" (for cross-context behavioral advertising) any personal information.
• We do not engage in automated profiling or targeted advertising.

Brazil (LGPD — Lei nº 13.709/2018):

We do not collect or process personal data through the App. Any voluntary support correspondence is handled strictly to fulfill your request and deleted upon request in compliance with Article 18 of the LGPD.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Global Standards)

Classic Metronome is safe for musicians and students of all ages. Because the App does not collect, use, or disclose any personal information from any user, it fully complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR-K, and Google Play Families policies.

8. Data Security & Retention

Since no personal data leaves your device, your privacy is protected by the physical and operating-system security of your own Android device. Local app preferences remain on your device only for as long as the App is installed.
